Photo conversion happens in your browser. The website also connects to hosting, advertising and optional payment services as described below.

Photos and converted files

The converter reads files you select or drop into the page. It processes those files on your device and does not upload them to a photo conversion server. File names, dimensions, sizes and progress are used to display your current queue. The conversion code does not send this queue information to an advertising or analytics service.

Clear all removes the current queue. Closing or reloading the page clears its in-memory results. Copies you have already downloaded or saved to a folder remain on your device. The converter does not overwrite your original photos.

Photo descriptions and duplicate checking

When descriptive names are enabled, an AI model analyzes a small preview on your device. It suggests a filename and category; suggestions can be wrong and are editable. The analysis does not identify people. Photos, previews, generated descriptions and duplicate fingerprints are not sent to an AI service.

First use downloads model files from Hugging Face and runtime files from jsDelivr. These providers receive ordinary connection details, including your IP address, but the converter does not send them your photos. Your browser may cache the model files for later use. Clear this site's browser storage to remove cached models. Turning descriptive names off avoids starting the model download. See Hugging Face's privacy policy and jsDelivr's privacy policy.

Duplicate checking compares selected file contents within the current batch. Identical file copies are skipped; visually similar photos are flagged for review and kept unless you choose to skip them. It does not search your device or remove originals, and cannot guarantee detection of every edited or re-encoded copy.

Background removal and vector tracing

Optional background removal downloads a separate U²-Net model from Hugging Face and runs it on your device. Its runtime files come from jsDelivr. These downloads share ordinary connection details with those providers, but do not upload your selected photo. Vector tracing also runs locally. Result previews use temporary local object URLs, released when the preview closes.

Optional AI image generation

When you use the AI image generator, your written prompt and any optional reference image you select (resized on your device, without its original metadata) are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, which creates an image and returns it to your browser. Cloudflare also receives connection information such as your IP address. Generated previews stay in browser memory until you leave; save images you want to keep. This feature does not upload your photo conversion queue. Avoid including sensitive information in prompts. To enforce generation limits, the generator stores a salted hash of your IP address and request times in Cloudflare D1. It does not store raw IP addresses, prompts, reference images or generated images in this usage database. Usage records older than two days are removed when a new generation request is processed; Cloudflare may retain service logs or backups under its own policies.

Customer accounts and optional cloud enhancement

The converters and private on-device enhancement tools do not require an account. If you create an account, Wix handles sign-up, sign-in and membership records. This site stores Wix session tokens in your browser so you can remain signed in. Signing out clears the local session. Wix may keep the account and payment records required to provide the service.

Premium cloud enhancement, generative cleanup and premium image generation are separate from the private tools. When one is available and you choose it, only the selected photo, reference image or written prompt is sent to the disclosed AI model provider for processing. The provider receives that content and ordinary connection data. Cloud AI can estimate or invent facial, object and scene detail, so results must be checked against the original. Monthly credit usage is associated with your member account to enforce the free and paid allowances. The site does not silently send photos from your conversion queue to cloud AI.

Folder access

When supported by your browser, you can choose a destination folder and grant permission to write converted copies into a new subfolder. That permission is controlled by your browser. Browsers without this capability offer individual downloads.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand visits, popular pages and how people find this website. Google may use cookies and process browser, device and visit information. We do not send photo contents, filenames or AI prompts as custom analytics events. The native iPhone app does not include this website analytics tag. Advertising and cookies

Converter pages use Google AdSense. Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies to select ads based on earlier visits to this site and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies can also allow its partners to personalize advertising using those visits. Other participating ad networks may use their own cookies or similar technologies.

Where an advertising consent message is displayed, use its available choices to manage or revisit your preferences. Browser settings can also control cookies. Disabling cookies or advertising does not change how the local photo conversion code processes your images.

Hosting and other page resources

The photo tools are hosted with Sites by OpenAI. Wix provides the optional donation services. Loading a page or an external resource sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, to the service delivering it. Pages may also load fonts from Google Fonts. These connections are separate from the on-device photo conversion process. See the OpenAI Privacy Policy, Wix Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy for those services’ practices.

Optional payments

If you choose to donate or purchase JPG Studio Pro, the page sends the selected donation or plan to Wix to create a secure checkout. Information you enter during checkout is handled by Wix and its payment providers. The site operator may receive membership, subscription, donation and transaction records. Photo files are not part of those payment requests.

Your choices

You can use the converters without an account, subscription or donation, clear your queue, close the page, decline folder access and manage your browser’s permissions. You can sign out from the account page and cancel a Pro subscription through your Wix account. Keep your originals when metadata, color information or future RAW editing matter.

JPG Organizer iPhone app

The native app analyzes photo previews and screenshot text on your device. It stores scan progress and suggested album names locally. It has no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account login or photo upload to ConvertToJPG. Opening this website from the app uses your browser and this website’s separate advertising practices.

Photos access is controlled in iPhone Settings. Limited Access restricts the app to photos you select. Organization adds existing photos to albums; conversion saves new exports through Files or, when you choose Save to Photos, adds PNG copies to your Photos library. The mask editor works on your device and saves a new PNG without replacing your original. Optional deletion requires confirmation and can sync through iCloud Photos. The app does not empty Recently Deleted.

Optional iCloud downloads use Apple’s Photos service. City-name lookups send embedded photo coordinates to Apple’s geocoding service; photos are not sent to ConvertToJPG. You can use subject or file-type scans instead of location scans. The app does not read your current device location. Local scan data and city-name caches are removed when you delete the app; Photos albums and files you saved remain.
