JPG is a still-image format. This converter uses the first GIF frame to create a single JPG, which can be useful for a thumbnail or a document. It does not preserve animation or let you select a later frame.
Transparency and sharp edges
Transparent GIF areas are placed on a white background in the JPG. JPEG compression can soften the sharp edges common in small GIF graphics. Keep quality high for a cleaner result, or retain a lossless image format when exact flat colors matter.
Convert several GIFs together

Common questions
Will the converted JPG move?
No. A JPG cannot contain GIF animation. The output is the first frame only.
Can I extract all GIF frames?
This tool does not extract every frame or provide a frame picker.
Will the background remain transparent?
No. JPG does not support transparency. Transparent areas become white.
